Every Fall, North Oaks Guild II, also known as “The Rummage Sale Guild”, works tirelessly for a full week to prepare a gigantic sale which fills the entire Shoreview Ice Arena. This is accomplished through the amazing generosity our business partners, community support and thousands of hours of work from our guild members, family members and volunteers. In 2019, North Oaks Guild II raised and donated nearly $200,000 to CHA to fund programs and services at Children’s Minnesota. Click here to read about these vital programs.
Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, the 2020 rummage sale has been cancelled, leaving a big gap in funding. So we are reaching out to all of you to help us STAND IN THE GAP.
We will miss the camaraderie and friendly faces of all of you – business partners, community members, volunteers and shoppers! Children’s Hospital Association needs us now more than ever and we hope you will help us achieve our ambitious goal of raising $100,000.

NORTH OAKS GUILD II
Formed in 1967, North Oaks Guild II celebrated its 50th year in 2017. The annual North Oaks Guild II Rummage Sale began in 1998, and while there were other fundraisers conducted during the Guild’s early years, the rummage sale has provided an excellent source of financial support in addition to serving the North Oaks community in reusing and repurposing unwanted items, and supporting local charities.
This groups enjoys telling the story of a “perfect circle” — people clean their homes and businesses of unwanted items which they donate to the annual North Oaks Guild II Rummage Sale; the guild cleans and “spiffs” things up to be sold to folks who want these items; proceeds from the sale are donated to Children’s Hospital Association to support programs and services at Children’s Minnesota; items that are left after the sale are donated to local charities for distribution to individuals with great needs – a “perfect circle.” North Oaks Guild II has made cumulative donations over $2 million to Children’s Hospital Association over its 50 years.
ABOUT CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL ASSOCIATION
Children’s Hospital Association is the largest cumulative donor to Children’s Minnesota. For almost ninety years, CHA has committed to funding innovative, integral health care programs at Children’s Minnesota. We achieve our fundraising goals through our premier fall event, a spring event called Table Talk, fundraising from our 10 Guilds, an Annual Campaign, and many tributes and memorial gifts. CHA’s donors and volunteers are guided by the knowledge that rare and challenging circumstances require many hands and extraordinary care.
